Over the years I have seen many people who feel trapped in their job. They have traded themselves and their unique purpose to:

impress others

feel sheltered in their comfort zone

Sadly, I’ve heard too many times to remember that “It’s a dog eat dog world out there” and more disturbingly, the infamous line from the Godfather movie “It is not personal, it is strictly business”. Is that really where we have evolved, to take instruction on how to share our life’s work from a movie about greed and corrupt power?

I cannot accept these are the only reasons people to choose to live their precious life each day. People are not just a clog in the wheel of a well-oiled machine, they are dynamic beings with limitless possibilities – a renewable source of ingenuity and energy.

This world needs everyone’s best selves.

Each person is uniquely equipped to provide value to this world. Everyone deserves, to be their best self and live meaningful lives.

We need people to step up and take on the challenges we face, to give us the arts to fill our hearts, play the sports that give us hope, teach others so they can achieve their potential, and care for us when we are not well.

Everyone has a role in helping humanity and our world thrive.
